Happiest 70th Birthday To Abah

Anis who ordered a cake for her mom's birthday not long ago commissioned us another cake for his dad. Turquoise, brown and white were the colours she requested, "no other colour." again, she stressed it, hahah! The combination of colours and design were simply awesome, Anis' taste is really unique and outstanding.

The top round cake measures 6", coffee flavour and bottom square cake is 8" with chocolate flavour. Hope they enjoyed the cake.

3-Tiered Minnie Mouse Cake For 1st Birthday

Minnie Mouse, all girls love her.  Vicky wanted her to be the theme of her daughter first year birthday cake. She ordered 2-tiered but I proposed a 3-tiered cake for her as the party was quite big, a bigger cake would look more presentable. I was so happy that she bought my idea, hehe...

The Minnie Mouse themed 3-tiered birthday cake is in pink, black and white with diameters of 6", 8" and 10" and topped with a large 2D Minnie Mouse head. The top and bottom tiers are rich dark chocolate and the middle tier is vanilla flavoured butter cake. The cake board is 14" wide.

Vicky's brother came to pick up the cake, he was so excited seeing the cake and told me that he wanted me to make his wedding cake soon, hahah! Thanks!

Disney Princess Cake For 2 Years Old Girl

It's a Disney Princess themed birthday cake for a 2 years old girl. Her aunt, Deva ordered the cake for her. The design idea was entirely provided by the aunt. She even bought the porcelain princess figurines to be put on the cake. Apparently, the birthday party theme is princess. Deva wanted everything to be in pink as well. She even made their guests wearing pink, hahah, it's a favourite colour of Mom And Daughter Cakes too!

The biggest challenge of the cake is the pole in the middle. What should I do with it? I was quite puzzled initially. Should I use cake pillar, bamboo stick or PVC pipe? How should I cut it? Should I wrap it with fondant or royal icing? So many question marks popped up on my mind because of a single pole, hahah!

Luckily, everything just came into place at last.
